Congratulations
to John Wood MBE
In recognition of his fund raising and services to the hair dressing
community, John Wood founder of Claritys was awarded an MBE in the Queens
Honours this week. John has helped raise over £100,000 for St Damian's School
and the new Children's Hospital.

Many Hands
Campaign |
Claritys is one of the contributors to the "Many Hands Campaign" over the
last twelve months.
The campaign drew to a close at a final reception with Theo Paphitis, and
we were delighted to announce that the campaign has generated £100,000 for
The New Children’s Hospital Appeal.

All Claritys assistants worked on stage at

Claritys are proud to organise and sponsor the Sports
Person Dinner for Saint Damian's Science college.

is the eleventh year that Claritys have undertaken this. The next event
is on 14th November 2003, with guest speakers Jonny Casson, and Fred
Ayre.

Wood from Claritys, has been playing badminton with Medlock Badminton
Club in the Tameside Badminton League for over 20 years. When the
League needed a sponsor for a new shield as a prize for a new
competition - John and Claritys stepped in to provide the
"Claritys Cup".

The series "Cutting It" is based in the city
centre of
Manchester
and is a programme about two rival hairdressing
salons. Who better then to do the hair of the stylists and their models than a
salon that has been in the city centre of Manchester
for over twenty four years Claritys.
